I am ready to rock and roll! It is playoff time! Time to put up or go home. Here we go..

Ten -1 The key to this game is obviously the health on McNair! He is the best player on the field, sorry Lewis boys, if he is close to 100% Tennessee will win in a close one. I think Tennessee's bi athletic DL matches up with Baltimore running game. Fisher will come up with some defensive schemes to contain Jamal Lewis, I suspect some 8 in the box and some 46 Bear looks. He will challenge Wright to beat them by playing man on the outside. I just don't see wright making enough plays to beat Tennessee.
Tennessee 23 Baltimore 16

Carolina -3 This should be another defensive game. Dallas in their last five road games scored 44 points and 27 came against a hapless Washington team. Against defensive teams similar to Carolina defense they scored 0 vs Tampa Bay, 0 vs. New England, and 10 vs Philadelphia. I guess what I am geting at is they will have a hard time scoring this week against Carolina. Then again Carolina is no offensive jaggernaut, but they do have a healthy Stephen Davis. I think Davis carries 30+ times and Carolina wins 20-14.

GL all, for tomorrow we ride!!

Going to take Carolina and buy it down to 2.5, just in case of a Carolina victory 17-14 game.

Sunday's Plays:

Seattle +8 GB blew out Seattle last time they played in week 5, that was Seattles first lose of the season. It started Seattle on a six game road losing streak. Though Seattle is 2-6 on the road this year I like the way they have played on the road the last two. Losing to St Louis by 5 and beating SF by 7. If you take out their two wins by 38 and 7 and their two largest loses to Min by 27 and GB by 23, their margin of defeat was 4.5 points. So they are not as bad on the road as I thought. Statistically Seattle matches up with GB. The last three games Seattle defense has played the run well giving up only 75 YPg. During that stretch they played a hot Marshall Faulk and one of the better running teams in SF. I expect Ray Rhodes to play some 8 man in the box to try and contain Ahman Green. That will leave Springs and Trufant on an island but I believe they can matchup with GB wr's. I also believe the Packers have been on such a high the last two weeks that they are due for some type of letdown. I think this could be a playoff game to remember.
GB 31 Seattle 28

be back with the Indy/Denver post later...

Indy -3 I keep hearing Denver beat Indy two weeks ago and they will beat them again, and that Denver is the better team. The last time I checked Indy was the division champ with a 12-4 record and Denver was a wild card team with a 10-6 record. So all the talk that the Broncos are a better team then Indy is nonsense. This is the same Indy team that beat a very good Tennessee team twice. Do you remember two year ago the NYJets beat Oakland on the last day of the season to make the playoff and then had to play the Raiders again the folowing week. Oakland won that game going away. Or three years ago when St.Louis went into New Orleans and beat them on the last day of the season to get in to the playoffs only to play NO the folowing week at home and lose. It is very hard to beat the same team on such a short turn around. To make matters worse for Denver, this is their third straight road game. Not sure what the ATS for a team on it third consecutive road game but I am pretty sure it is not good. Back to Back road games is tough enough. Another advantage Indy might have is that they know what to expect this time. I don't expect Denver to change their game plan from the last time to much so it how Indy adjust that is the key. And I believe Dungy will have them ready. Manning, James, and Harrison will get their first playoff win.

Was that a great game or What? Like I mentioned in my game post I thought that this was going to be a game to remember and it was all of that and more. I am glad to see Favre and GB moving on but I am happier Seattle covered.

Going for the sweep with Indy!!!
